Belonging IV

This ceramic sculpture is part of a series exploring connection, individuality and the human need to belong. Built from softly stacked rounded forms that resemble stones balanced on top of one another, the hand-built piece evokes a simple, almost childlike idea of the human figure. Finished in glossy glazes of coral red, blush pink and warm orange, the sculpture feels playful yet emotional, questioning how we relate to one another and how identity shifts when placed within a group.
